robert frost poems (2)

Nothing Gold CAn Stay

nature's first green is gold,
her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower,
but only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to Leaf,
and Eden sank to greif.
As dawn goes down to day,
nothing gold can stay.

Fire and Ice

some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what ive tasted of desire,
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if i had to perish twice,
I think i know enough of hate
to say that for destruction
ice is also great
and will suffice.

* note: i did not copy and paste i just really like these two poems and so i memorized them by accident :P though maybe not gramatically perfect.

Oh my Goddess!!! I seriously just logged on after like an entire year of ignoring this site only to discover that we both memorised the SAME TWO robert Frost poems completely by accident!!! telepathy is amazing ain't it?
